- BELL WEATHER DEPARTMENT -
a kaleidoscopic rock &/or roll collective from Sydney, Australia
‘Voodoo Hoodoo’
By Bell Weather Department
Sydney’s ‘Bell Weather Department’ are back, championing their brand of kaleidoscopic rock &/or roll with a new single, ‘Voodoo Hoodoo’.
Those who caught on early can attest the praise the group has consistently received throughout their relatively short existence and since the nourishing of numerous demos to the world, the group has secured its reputation as a musical force to be reckoned with across Australia and abroad.
You’ve been rightly confused by the group’s recent video for their prevalent single ‘Asterisk’, receiving its ample share of airplay and blog-love, and you’ve witnessed their live prowess and its twistingly colourful unpredictability, demonstrating their wild off-kilter take on rock/pop whilst sharing stages alongside a myriad of reputable performers with The Holidays, Boy & Bear, Papa Vs. Pretty, The Delta Riggs and Ernest Ellis to name a few.
And now, for those a little on the slow side, here is your belated introduction and motive to catch up on all things ‘Bell Weather Department’ before they really take off.
The ‘Voodoo Hoodoo’ cements Bell Weather Department’s place as the “force to be reckoned with” they are predicted to be & serves as a precursor to the groups soon to be released debut LP.
This is Bell Weather Department.
